My name is Cathy Cheng
I am the founder of Core Search, a boutique, high end executive search firm specializing in sourcing top-tier talent for the resources industry.
MBA qualified business leader with over two decades of experience in Executive Search and Business Growth, I bring deep industry expertise and a vast network within the resources sector.
My journey began with industry leaders Hays and Adecco where I spent eight years honing my skills in executive search until I immigrated to Australia in 2012 as a senior recruitment consultant - Oil and Gas, where I developed a keen understanding of the local and international talent landscape.
My experience then expanded into business development in 2015, as I shifted into the engineering sector, eventually rising to a director-level position as Growth Leader at a top multinational professional services organization.
This blend of Executive Search and growth leadership expertise inspired me to establish Core Search, a firm focused on delivering high-quality, strategic placements for executive roles.
